• 中国語で書かれているので、その手紙を理解するのは難しいです．

  Written in Chinese, the letter is difficult to understand. 原因・理由を表す Because it is written …を分詞構文 にした文。Being written の being は省略されることが多い。
• 何をすべきかわからなかったので私は先生に助言を求めました．

  Not knowing what to do, I asked my teacher for advice. 「何をすべきか分からなかったので」なので，原因・ 理由を表す分詞構文の否定形になる。分詞の直前に not を置く。
• 電話で話しながら、私達は夜を明かした．

  We sat up all night, talking on the phone.
• While he was playing soccer, he hurt his leg. 分詞構文にしなさい

  Playing soccer, he hurt his leg.
