I believe technology brings negative effects to society, especially through the rise of social media. The increased dissemination of false information prevents people from making right decisions. For example, during the COVID-19 pandemic, many people believed and shared unverified cures online. This shows that greater access to information doesn’t necessarily help our brain make more informed decisions, but can lead to harmful consequences.

私は、テクノロジーは特にSNSの普及を通じて社会に悪い影響を与えていると考えます。偽情報の拡散によって、人々が正しい判断を下せなくなっています。たとえば、COVID-19のパンデミック中には、多くの人が検証されていない治療法を信じて拡散しました。これは、情報へのアクセスが増えても、より良い判断に結びつくとは限らず、むしろ有害な結果を招くことがあることを示しています。
